Figures: Haul (February 2010) + Backlog
I just came back from a neighboring country. I was expecting an item from the postal service. To my delight, it was Mio Akiyama of K-ON! from Alter! I was actually expecting Rei Ayanami from Creator’s Labo series. In fact, the figure Mio has been delayed again and again since last year. I’m so excited to receive her but I know that I won’t be able to have a photo session with her anytime soon. In order to share this great news with my readers, I decided to have a haul post instead.
I can’t give a complete February haul in this post since I’ve lost track of what I ordered and what are delayed. Yeah… my rational self seems to have converted into a shopping spree self. I think that is pretty scary actually. Arrgghh… there are too many K-ON! figures. With a K-ON! fan like me, the manufacturers finally won me over.
Well, let me list what I’ve received this month. First and foremost, of course my Mio Akiyama from Alter!! From photos and reviews, I’ve always trusted Alter’s quality. Up till now, I’ve only gotten two products from Alter and I’m already a satisfied customer.
The other figure which I received is Ymir of Queen’s Blade from MegaHouse. I’ve watched a few episode of Queen’s Blade. In my opinion, I don’t think that she is very popular. In fact, I didn’t know why I bought this figure. Probably, it was the shopping spree spirit.
As for Rei Ayanami of Creator’s Labo, I think it should be in on Monday or Tuesday. Hence, I can’t provide any photos of the box currently.
Backlogs
Now, for the backlogs. These are the figures that I bought end of last year. They have been left safely in their respective boxes.
Alleyne from MegaHouse! I actually received her before Anime Festival Asia 09. Yeah, it has been sometime. Zzz…
Airi from MegaHouse! I bought this figure from Anime Festival Asia 09. It has been three months already if I’m not wrong.
Emaretta of Yamato came in roughly around December last year. I find her quite cute and sensual with the fact that she is the last piece, so I bought it without hesitation.
Lastly, I bought this Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou ver. (from MegaHouse) from E-Bay. I was looking everywhere for her and fortunately I found a local seller who who has a couple of stocks left. Immediately, I got in-touch with the person and bought it before flying to Korea.
Now, what I need to do would be finding time and generating ideas. Without these two elements, I think they will continue to be in the boxes for some time…
The Alleyne figure is really pretty. I hope you take her out soon. ^ ^

Haha I know the feeling man….its just gets bigger and bigger. Luckily so far I only collect nendo figures, if i start on figmas or these types of figures that you have i'll need get even more cupboards!!

Hoorays! I’m pretty amazed that you found that Haruhi figure, I figured that nobody on this planet was selling her. Oh wait, there’s a pre-owned one up on BeNippon … for 23110 yen. QB figures and Mio and especially Emaretta-chan are awesome, I’m giving some thought to picking up Emaretta myself; she seems to be the sort of figure I’d appreciate a great deal.

23110 yen is very expensive!! I only bought it for 180SGD (equivalent to roughly 11,304 yen) C.O.D.. The best thing is that it’s new and not opened at all… totally mint condition
